Bold, playful and characteristically romantic, the collection signifies Patrick’s first move into production from his coveted hand painted garments, with a capsule of 35 printed pieces featuring his original artworks. Drive Thru explores the artist’s fascination with glamour, consumerism and the all American Dream: his models portray a world of languid decadence where fantasy and sensuality rule the day. Forever interpreting the space he inhabits the artist, who recently moved to New York has grown enamored by Warhol’s interpretation of America; creating a glamorous moment that maintains a havoc-like sense of fun.
Patrick painted the icons and figures that define him as a fine artist which represents his curiosity and ownership of his obsessions, magnetizing the intended intensity of the collection. Emblazoning these bold artworks over a carefully selected variety of pajamas, silk slip dresses, flared denim and signature matching sets.
Championed by celebrated art historian and curator Norman Rosenthal, Patrick is a British multimedia artist based in New York who has exhibited in Paris, London, Portugal, and China with hand painted fashion pieces collected by Madonna, Jenner, SZA, Kendall and Teyana Taylor. He is currently preparing for his first solo art exhibition in New York at Toth Gallery on September 7th 2018. The opening will be launched in coordination with his NYFW presentation inviting the public to further experience the world he inhabits.
